Link-Business Networking Event: 20th October 2023
One of the highlights of the event was the presence of Councillor Chris Whitbread, Leader of Epping Forest District Council and Cabinet Member for Finance at Essex County Council. Councillor Whitbread presented key insights into the ongoing council projects and shed light on the current economic climate. His presentation provided valuable information for local businesses navigating the challenges of the current landscape.
Representing St Clare Hospice, we had Sydney Sykes who shared the incredible work that the local charity does. St Clare Hospice provides free, compassionate care to adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families in West Essex and East Hertfordshire. Sydney encouraged our guests to get involved in supporting local charities and the importance of community engagement.
Next, we had two special guest speakers from AMS Admin Services – Mohit Wadhwani and Pralabhya Pratap Shah. They spoke to everyone about the importance of accounting services for individuals and businesses and how accounts can positively support business success.
Closing the series of talks was Michael Kenny from Tallis House – Runwood Homes Senior Living. Michael is a dedicated Business Development Manager with four years of experience in the care sector and shared with us all the valuable insights into the health and social care industry.
Thank you to our wonderful guest speakers for generously sharing their knowledge and experiences with us. A special thank you also goes out to all our guests who attended, actively participated, and shared their wisdom. The team at Link-WorkSpace looks forward to hosting another business networking event in the new year!
