Rapid flexibility is unique to the Link-WorkSpace shared workspace model. With a wealth of construction & development expertise, private office studios can be designed & customised to suit the individual needs of business members.

Link-WorkSpace Epping launches in October 2021 and further local neighbourhood workspaces will be launching across Essex and the rest of the UK.

Who created Link-WorkSpace?

Link-WorkSpace is the brainchild of a family team, Sharmila Bholanauth, Garreth McMahon and Biviana Bholanath. The co-founders have career backgrounds in international business and property development, construction, co-working space and hospitality. Biviana also owns VA.City – a virtual business support service including access to PA and administrative support, available for Link-WorkSpace members.

What are Link-WorkSpace features?

Premium & flexible space design, light filled working space and the use of top technology services are key features of every Link-WorkSpace. All members benefit from superfast wifi with access to meeting rooms and conference facilities including widescreen TVs. Private studio offices are sound-protected and benefit from glass partitions with flexible frosted screens that combine light and privacy too.

Cool, calm colour shades flow throughout Link-WorkSpace Epping to optimise member productivity and performance. Design features include soothing tones of copper and charcoal grey, soft velvet furnishings in muted turquoise and warm yellow with glossy wood features and natural brickwork. Lush green biophilia (proven to enhance human wellbeing) also enriches the working environment, positioned amongst comfortable sofas and chairs.

LinkWorkSpace Epping will also open an intimate courtyard garden for calm contemplation or an opportunity to meet, network, socialise and enjoy the free, locally sourced coffee and tea.

Why has LinkWorkSpace been created?

The LinkWorkSpace business is responding to a significant and permanent global and UK change in work culture. Coined by city analysts as the ‘15 Minute City’, people are choosing to live and work in their local neighbourhood.

This working change has been further accelerated by the pandemic. People have become used to working closer to home, keen to avoid a needless commute, spend less time travelling and more time with family and friends.

There is overwhelming evidence that people do not want to return to city centre commutes or offices full time. Large corporates and SME employers recognise this step change and are offering employees the chance to work in a hybrid way.

Furthermore, according to a survey from Colliers International, remote working increases productivity by 21%. But working from home does not work for everyone. For many desk based employees, it’s not even an option. Home space can be limited, digital connectivity challenging and there are no in-house office services or water cooler moments.

A new demand for local workspace

It turns out that one of the functions of workspace is to provide an equal and enriching human experience! Flexibility and choice undoubtedly work best. We now all desire something that can deliver less commute time, higher productivity, better community, serendipity, fun, good value for money. Not to mention, a positive and energised workspace that enhances productivity and wellbeing.

According to TechCrunch, shared work space will become a key ingredient to a new working approach they call ‘work from anywhere’, that could even contribute to revitalising local towns and cities. According to Link-WorkSpace, this future has already arrived.
